Dear Community, I'm running Parallels for Mac 12 (last version) on a Mac OS Sierra (last beta 10.12.4 b6) Macbook Pro and is happening something extrange: If I work with facetime or skype or some app that needs the iSight camera before running Parallels, image from camera is received (green led from camera is on) and the apps are working as expected. In the Mac menu go to Actions (the Virtual Machine menu in older versions of Parallels Desktop) -> Configure.-> Hardware-> Video. For Windows 8.1 and 10 Check Enable Retina resolution option for your virtual machine - Windows will immediately change its resolution, though virtual machine reboot is recommended. Parallels Desktop 5 for Mac is shipping, including Aero support in Vista and Windows 7, a new Crystal mode for full Windows/Mac OS integration, OpenGL 2.1 acceleration in Windows and Linux, and more. In Parallels 9, you can set for every VM if it should be scaled, best for retina or more space. As DPI scaling under Windows is inherently broken, as application developers have to support this, and many just don't, it's not useful you can configure this at all, which is why more options don't always mean better software (looking at you Parallels).
